Our next quilt day meeting is less than a month away, on Saturday, May 18. The Fabric Sale will be held just following the lecture and meeting as we have done in the past.
We have some lovely donations: Judy Thornton’s entire stash will be offered, several members have been doing their Spring cleaning, and we have added nicely to the inventory. Our website makes it easy for folks outside the Guild to find me. As a result, we have received donations with very interesting things in them. Come ready to shop!!
GAAQG MEMBERS: Access to the sale won’t happen until the meeting is over and our esteemed President Marge (and cashier for the sale for MANY years) lets us go.
NONMEMBERS: If you are a novice quilter and are looking for a budget friendly source of fabric for yourself or for charity quilts, you don’t want to miss this sale. The sale is open to all at noon.
Fabric is sold by volume. When you put fabric in your bag, think how much you would spend at a fabric shop. Then donate generously.
We take cash, check, and credit cards. Proceeds from the sale support our guild’s charitable SafeHouse Center activities, so your generosity is much appreciated.
Please get it to me before May 5 so we can get it into the inventory.
