Are You Ready to Shop? Fabric Sale – Saturday, May 17

By Roberta Myyra

small roles of fabric scraps are only a small part of the fabric sale. Most fabric size is at least a quarter yard and often much larger

Our next Quilt Day Meeting is Saturday, May 17 at the Morris Lawrence Building at the Washtenaw Community College campus. Our annual Fabric Sale is in the atrium after the meeting.

Several members have been doing their Spring cleaning, and the inventory is well-stocked. Our website makes it easy for folks outside the guild to find me. As a result, we have received donations with very interesting things in them. Come ready to shop!!

GAAQG MEMBERS: Access to the sale is post-meeting only.

NONMEMBERS: If you are a novice quilter and are looking for a budget-friendly source of fabric for yourself or for donation quilts, you don’t want to miss this sale. The sale is open to all at noon.

Fabric is sold by volume. When you put fabric in your bag, think how much you would spend at a fabric shop, then donate generously.

We take cash, check, and credit cards. Proceeds from the sale support our guild’s charitable SafeHouse Center activities, so your generosity is much appreciated.

Got some Fabric to Donate?

Please contact me before May 5 so we can get it into the inventory. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!
